Photo project

Poster description
Have you lived in Dalston for some time? If so you have probably seen it change a lot. And your experience of this will be different and unique to the next person. Some people experience change as positive, some as negative, and some a combination of both.
Dalston people have been taking photos of how they feel included in or excluded from change and talking to me about their feelings and experiences. I will be displaying these in Gillett Square on the dates below and asking other passers-by to add their views:
  • Friday 26 June
  • Friday 3 June
  • Tuesday 7 June
I’ll also be running a workshop on Saturday 1 August when the play equipment will also be out for kids.
Please pop down and have a look.
Or if you would like to take some photos yourself, contact me on 07739 989391 or at catdrew19@gmail.com.
You would need to take at least 20 photos (on a smartphone is fine, you don’t have to be artistic!) of things that make you feel either:
  • included in and happy about the change
  • excluded from and unhappy about the change
And then spend an hour telling me about them. The balance of the photos is up to you. These can as big as a building going up or down, or little as a new addition to a menu in your nearest cafe.
